Ro-Ann Dansereau [thevancats] lives in Agassiz, British Columbia, Canada. She is
an Administrator in a Canada wide Grocery/General Merchandise store.
Ro-Ann received her first camera when she was about 4 years old. She remembers
when she took her first black and white photograph.
She also remembers saying that she wanted to be a photographer when she grew up.
That day lead her to the love of photography. When she was 11 she won a Haminex
110 camera. She spend many days setting up pictures of people or objects.
High school brought the new experience of a 35mm Minolta camera, and the world
of the black and white darkroom. The next step with the help of her
family, was setting up her own darkroom when she was 16.
Ro-Ann's love for photography lead her into Fine Arts. In college she studied
printmaking, drawing, painting, and sculpture. While completing an
Associate in Fine Arts, photography always found a way into her art.
Ro-Ann loves to spend time at home with her 4 indoor cats. She enjoys the time
she gets to spend in her garden photographing flowers. Camera collecting is
another thing Ro-Ann loves to do. She wishes she still had her very first
camera. Her personal quote is "a girl can never have enough cameras".
One day she would like to have her own business, using her love for Art and
Photography.
