Per Norløff lives in Oslo, Norway.
He got his first camera in 1936 and has worn out a substantial amount of photo
equipment since then, from instamatics to more sophisticated ones with wide
angle lenses and big zooms that had to be carried in separate bags.
What a release when he bought the HP 945 three years ago and with his computer
and colour printer became totally independent from the photo labs.
He is fond of traveling and has been all over the globe, but find also his local
scenery fascinating and last year had a photo exhibition of the surroundings of
his home in the suburb south of Oslo.
This year his travels in Ethiopia will be the subject of another exhibition and
being a frequent participator in POTD he finds inspiration in the variety of
themes which is exposed. The picture is from his acquaintance with a yak in the
Yunnan province of China last year
